JacksTacShack started as one man's passion for firearms and the outdoors. It's grown into something bigger — but the values haven't changed.
Jack's Story
Jack grew up with firearms in his hands and the outdoors in his blood. What started as a childhood passion turned into a lifelong career — over 20 years spent deep inside the firearms and sporting goods industry, learning every corner of it from the ground up.
From working gun counters and attending industry trade shows, to building direct relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and gunsmiths across the country — Jack has seen it all. He knows what separates a quality firearm from a flashy one, what ammo actually performs in the field, and what gear is worth every penny versus what's just marketing.
That two-decade foundation is what JacksTacShack is built on. When you walk through our door in Inwood, WV, you're not talking to a salesperson — you're talking to someone who has lived this industry. No upsell, no runaround. Just straight answers from someone who knows.

Jack Harmon
Founder & Owner
Started it all in 2009. Still behind the counter most Saturdays. Specializes in bolt-action rifles and hunting setups.
Dale Pruitt
Head Gunsmith
Certified armorer with 20+ years of experience. If it's broken, Dale fixes it. If you want it better, Dale builds it.
Renee Harmon
Operations Manager
Jack's wife and the reason the business actually runs. Handles everything from inventory to staff scheduling to keeping Jack in line.
Marcus Webb
Sales & FFL Transfers
Former Army, lifelong hunter. Marcus knows handguns and AR platforms inside and out. Ask him about the Glock 19 — he'll talk your ear off.

Annual sponsorship of the Tennessee Youth Deer Hunt, helping introduce the next generation to safe, ethical hunting.

Conservation Partnerships
We donate a portion of annual sales to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation to support habitat conservation and wildlife management.
